Well here in EW we want all of our players to have a fun time, so we set 3 basic ground rules to guide every player. We hope that our players will be smart enough to understand what else is or is not inappropriate. We DO want this to be a nice a safe learning and playing environment for younger players.
Basic Rules to follow:
1)No foul language
2)No Harassing players of any kind
3)No talking about mature material including violence, etc.
4)HAVE FUN!!!
How EW works:
Starting Out:
When you start out here in EW you recieve 150,000 dollars, and 1 horse that is created by you.
You may create 2 more horses on top of that. These horses cost 5,000 each.
You will recieve a bonus 2,000 every week.
The Horses:
Every horse has a registered name and a nickname, neither of these are to be changed during the course of the game.
These horses age every 3 months.
Stallions can breed at the age of 2 and arent able to breed after the age of 25.
Mares can breed at the age of 3 and arent able to breed after age 25.
Horses here mature and age, so be wise with breeding as breeding a horse at age 2, or beyond 20 may result in complications, or a worse end result.
All horses must be at least level 1 to compete in an undersaddle discipline, and atleast the age of 3.
Again if you choose to progress the horse too fast the horse may go lame or have other problems with performance.
There are several other ways to get horses, you may buy, breed, or even adopt at the local humane association.
When you buy or adopt you will have the option of changing the horses discipline, this is the ONLY time you will have this option.
The Jobs:
Players will not be permitted to get a job untill they are in good standing in EW for 3 months(1 EW year).
There are quite a few professions you can have as a person, just a few are:
-Jockey/Rider
-Veterinarian
-Farrier
-Craftsman
-Trainer
-Therapuetic Equine Message Therapist
While some of these professions are very clear cut, others leave to the imagination. Below are descriptions of what the jobs would be like.
Jockey/Rider-This person rides in races or competitions, depending upon the level of the person riding it may increase a horse's chances of winning darasticly.
Veterinarian-Treats and cures horses.
Farrier-Shoes Horses.
Craftsmen-Creates tack, and other horse supplies for the community.
Trainer-Trains horses to beable to compete in a chosen discipline. This profession is able to specialize in a certain discipline.
Therapuetic Equine Massage Therapist-Able to calm the nerves of horses, as well as loosen them up using massage techniques.
Registries,Competitions, and Businesses(jobs cont.):
In EW registries, competitions, and businesses are player run. We will not have a tack shop until a player creates one, the same goes for every other registry competition or business.
All of the people in charge of these things will be required to fill out forms in the event somebody enters registry/competition, or buys a service, etc. in order to get money trainsfered to your account. This also allows me to update information.
